  • Check out the time of the hotel mentioned is 10:00 hrs. Check-in time is 12:00 noon. (Early check-in is subject to availability)
  • In case the client is carrying any valuable personal good, it is advisable not to leave it behind at the time of disembarking/ leaving the coach. GIH will not be held responsible or liable in case of loss of such items from the coach. All baggage and personal goods are always and, in all circumstances, the responsibility of the client.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation charges per person on total tour cost

  • 30 days or more before departure: 25% of the total cost
  • 15 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
  • Less than 14 days before departure: 100% of the total cost

Participant Readiness

Fitness: Suitable for travellers in good health; involves high-altitude travel up to 19,500 ft.

Clothing: Thermal layers, warm jackets, trekking shoes, gloves, sunglasses.

Documents: Passport valid for 6months, travel insurance covering high altitude.

PREPONE AND POSTPONE

For postpone/Propane of tour packages, please communicate in writing and need to be inform us at least 14 days prior of the tour date.

INR 40%/- will be charged on total tour cost for Prepone /postpone.

  • We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
  • Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them as soon as possible.
  • We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
  • If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather): We shall first, try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced. 

Want to change your Plan.

After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All costs incurred due to the amendment will be borne by you.

  • Syabrubesi / Timure is the final stop in Nepal before entering Tibet.

  • Drive to Tibetan plateau town.
You complete immigration formalities at Rasuwagadhi and enter Tibet. After crossing, you drive 4–5 hours to Kerung. The air is cooler here, and the altitude begins to rise, so the evening is kept light. Overnight stay in Kerung
  • Drive through vast Tibetan landscapes.
  • Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo) River views.
You travel across the Tibetan plateau with its wide valleys and open landscapes. Short stops along the way help with gradual acclimatisation. Overnight stay in Saga
  • Dedicate a rest day to help your body adjust to a higher altitude. Light walks, hydration, and warm meals are encouraged.
  • This day makes the upcoming journey much easier.

A scenic drive brings you to Lake Mansarovar, one of the holiest lakes for pilgrims. As you approach, the turquoise water and distant views of Mount Kailash create a moving and peaceful moment.

Overnight in a simple mud house near Mansarovar.
  • Drive to base camp for Kailash Parikrama.
  • Preparation for sacred Kora.
A calm morning at Mansarovar followed by a short drive to Darchen, the Kailash Kora. You prepare for the trek, check gear, and keep the evening easy. Overnight stay in Darchen
  • Yam Dwar – Gateway to Kailash Parikrama.Trek to
  • Dirapuk Monastery (North Face of Kailash).
The Parikrama begins with a 13 km walk, about 5–6 hours at a steady pace. You see the north face of Mount Kailash getting clearer as you approach Dirapuk. The monastery area is one of the most serene points of the journey. Overnight in Dirapuk (basic mudhouse).
  • Dolma La Pass (5,630 m) – Highest point of the yatra.
  • Gauri Kund – Sacred lake of Goddess Parvati.
The most challenging day of the trek. You start early and ascend steadily to Dolma-La Pass, the highest point of the route. Aftercrossingthepass, you descend toward GauriKund and continue to Zuthulpuk. Total trek distance: 22 km (8–9 hours). Overnight in Zuthulpuk.
  • Completion of Kailash Parikrama.
  • Drive back to Saga.
A 12 km walk completes the sacred Parikrama. After lunch at Darchen, you drive back to Saga Overnight stay in Saga.
  • You travel back through Kerung, cross the border into Nepal, and continue to Kathmandu.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
  • Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
